Our Story

SonicSphere Studios began with a simple yet powerful vision: to create a space where artists could realize their sonic potential. Founded in 2010 by Ethan Vance, a seasoned audio engineer with a passion for music and technology, the studio started as a small project in a converted garage in Burbank. Ethanâ€™s dedication to quality and his innate ability to connect with artists quickly garnered attention. Word-of-mouth spread, and soon, SonicSphere Studios outgrew its humble beginnings.

In 2015, SonicSphere Studios relocated to a larger, purpose-built facility in the heart of Hollywood, Los Angeles. This new location boasted state-of-the-art recording equipment, acoustically optimized rooms, and a team of highly skilled engineers and producers. The move allowed SonicSphere to expand its services to include not only music recording but also mixing, mastering, voice-over recording, and podcast production. Our expanded facilities include three distinct recording booths, each tailored for different recording needs, a spacious control room equipped with a vintage API console, and a comfortable lounge area for clients to relax and collaborate.

Over the years, SonicSphere Studios has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of talented artists, from Grammy-winning musicians to up-and-coming indie bands. Ethan holds a degree in Audio Engineering from the University of Southern California and is a certified Pro Tools expert.

Serena Adams

Mixing & Mastering Engineer
Serena is a highly skilled mixing and mastering engineer with a keen ear for detail and a passion for sonic perfection. She has worked on numerous award-winning albums and is known for her ability to enhance the clarity, depth, and impact of any recording. Serena is proficient in a variety of mixing and mastering software, including Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, and Ozone.

Javier Rodriguez

Studio Manager & Audio Technician
Javier is the glue that holds SonicSphere Studios together. As studio manager, he ensures that everything runs smoothly and efficiently, from scheduling sessions to maintaining equipment. His technical expertise and problem-solving skills are invaluable to the team. Javier has a background in electronics and is a certified audio technician.
